Programs and Initiatives

Academics

We provide free after-school classes for children from nursery level up to the master’s level. These classes run daily from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, except on Sundays.

  • Student Participation: Currently, we have nearly 200 registered students, with an average daily attendance of 50-60 children, which increases to 100 during holidays.
  • Subjects Offered: Our 11 dedicated teachers provide instruction in:
    • English
    • Sanskrit
    • Hindi
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Computer Science
    • Accountancy
    • History
    • Social Science
    • Business Studies
  • Teaching Materials: For basic reading skills, we use the Ladybird series, followed by Oxford University Press’s Grammar Tree for advanced grammar learning.

Our primary school is expanding organically, adding one class per year. Currently, we offer Classes 1-3, covering all curriculum subjects.

We provide residential education for children aged 8 years and above who wish to pursue a Sanskrit-medium education.

  • Subjects Covered:
    • Vedic Studies: Shukla Yajurveda Satsvar and Samaveda Satsvar
    • Grammar: Memorization of Panini’s Ashtadhyayi (4,000 grammar rules)
    • Classical Literature & Philosophy: Nyaya Darshan and Spoken Sanskrit
    • Modern Subjects alongside traditional studies
  • Facilities Provided:
    • Complete education, accommodation, food, and clothing
    • Year-round residential facilities

For younger children who are yet to start formal schooling, we provide Nursery, Lower Kindergarten (LKG), and Upper Kindergarten (UKG) education.

  • Additional Support:
    • Daily hot meals, often serving as their primary source of nutrition
    • Provision of uniforms, books, and stationery

Our Sewing Centre empowers women and girls by providing vocational training.

  • Training Details:
    • 6 days a week training by a dedicated instructor
    • Hands-on learning with 8 donated sewing machines
  • Outcome: This initiative equips them with the skills to earn a modest income from home.

Our Computer Centre supports all educational initiatives by providing computer classes and specialized courses.

  • Inclusive Learning: We also offer girls-only classes to encourage female participation in digital literacy.

Every Sunday, children participate in art, craft, and music classes.

  • Music Training: Some children are learning classical Sangeet and instruments like:
    • Harmonium
    • Tabla
    • Guitar
